CoirMat RL750 blanket is completely biodegradable and does not contain any synthetic materials to harm wildlife.
CoirMat RL750 is designed to have an extended life in the field compared to the standard 700g coir mat. Extra fiber is added to make thicker yarns. This blanket is woven from hand spun mattress coir fiber yarns. Thicker diameter coir yarns last longer in the field than thin coir yarns. It is designed to maintain an optimum open area where vegetation grows through it without causing tenting.
