Coir revegetation pad
BioD-Pillow coir fiber pad is completely biodegradable and does not contain any synthetic materials to harm wildlife.
BioD-Pillow is composed of a 1 – 2 in thick pad of mattress coir fiber encased in a case made of BioD-Mat 40 (unit weight: 460 g/m2) woven bristle coir blanket. The 1 – 2 in thick RoLanka coir pillow comes in 3 ft (0.91 m) wide and 15 ft (4.6 m) long pads. It is an excellent tool to revegetate hard to grow surfaces. They can vegetate in nurseries and install in the field to create quick wetlands. This coir pad holds seeds in place and provides a suitable medium for germinating seeds. Excellent for making floating islands to create spawning grounds for aquatic animals and to trap sediment in runoff water.
