RoLanka offers natural and biodegradable bags made from the woven coir blanket with a unit weight of 980 g/sq. m. (BioD-Mat 90). BioD-Rockbag™ 10 coir bag is available in 24 in. x 10 in. size, and it comes with one side open for filling with rocks. There is a coir twine string attached to open end for closing the bag. There is another coir twine string on the bottom of the bag so that these bags can be joined to perform as one unit. These coir bags can be filled with # 4 rocks to filter sediment effectively on concrete surfaces. Coir bags can stand heavy equipment better than synthetic bags and they work well with heavy equipment. These coir bags are strong, durable, natural, and biodegradable. Also, coir bags are environmentally friendly and economical. Coir bags do not create any non-degradable waste, which requires disposal in landfills.
